Im sorry its been a bit too grindy, but we have no intention of going back to how 0.8 works. Making use of these effectively will get you past it. On the topic of being stuck with the boss wave, I do agree that the boss waves and especially a lot of the night waves can get pretty spammy, however this is designed to work in tandum with lots of wallnuts and cherry bombs. On the old server we used to have, a lot of big farms were set up for peapods and the what not and once you set that stuff up it really isnt that hard to keep large amounts of plants and upgraded ones. I never really found the zen garden to be that troublesome.
